About The Artist: Mr. Chris & the Gassy Bubbles are a children rock & roll band from Toronto. The band is fronted by Mr. Chris, who is also the band’s writer/producer. They formed in 2005, and collectively created the band’s first album ‘Dance Shake Rattle & Roll’ which was released in the summer of 2007. In May 2009, the band released their anti-bullying song ‘Different People’, which was created using no instruments and was created to help combat bullying in schools and playgrounds all around the world. The mission of the Gassy Bubbles is to create fun interactive children’s music that equally appeals to both children and parents. The band blended together many sounds and influences of the 60’s & 70’s rock & roll music scene, and meshed them together with children’s lyrics & children’s music. The band has been touring the province of Ontario for nearly 2 years. They have played many venues; festivals, schools, daycares, hospitals, libraries, private functions & community centres. They have played the Almonte Puppets Up festival, Muskokafest, Orangeville Labour Day carnival, Hanover Canada Day celebration, City of Brampton showcase, Listowel’s Teddy Bear Picnic, CIBC Christmas Festival, TD’s Laugh Out Loud, TD’s Library Summer Reading Club, just to name a few.
